There is a closet in my house that I never open because if I did, everything would fall out. It's a closet in our study that served as the catch-all when we moved in 4 years...yes, 4 YEARS ago. But after reading Alene's post
here, I was inspired to tackle what I have come to call "Pandora's Box". Because I have not seen any of this stuff in so long, I realized that each pile of clutter needed organizing in itself. For example, piles and piles of pictures have lived in this closet. Now they need their own space. And tax returns from the last several years really should be in a file of their own. And office supplies that I did not know I had...and the list could go on and on. It was pretty overwhelming because each item I "discovered" started a chain reaction on what to do with it. But I made it through and finished my weekend project with time to spare. So thanks, Alene, for the inspiration! I feel so much better now!
